Person: Markovic Bosiljko

Testifying at the trial of Bosiljko and Ostoja Markovic, who are charged with rape, an intelligence affairs officer with the 122nd Infantry Brigade of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, says that, in 1992 he was informed about the rape of two Croat women from Orahova village, Kotor-Varos municipality.

At the trial of ex-soldiers Bosiljko and Ostoja Markovic, the victim’s mother and brother testified that she was raped by four Serb fighters in the Kotor Varos area in June 1992.

As agreed at a status conference, the trial of Bosiljko and Ostoja Markovic for crimes against the civilian population in Kotor-Varos is due to begin on August 26 with the reading of the indictment and presentation of the State Prosecution’s introductory statement.

The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH, requests extension of prohibiting measures against Bosiljko and Ostoja Markovic, who are charged with having raped a minor in the Kotor-Varos area in 1992.
