The two men, both former members of the Kotor Varos Brigade of the Bosnian Serb Army, told the court in Sarajevo on Wednesday that they were not guilty of committing a crime against the civilian population.

They are charged with taking the 14-year-old girl from a house in the village of Orahova and raping her on June 28, 1992.

Because they pleaded not guilty, their trial will start in the next 30 to 60 days.

Although the two men share the same surname, they are not related.
