The Defence of indictee Branko Topola includes material evidence in the case file, saying that those documents show that policemen, and not the Territorial Defence, of which Topola was a member, committed the murders at Koricanske stijene on August 21, 1992. Ranko Dakic, Defence attorney of indictee Topola, presented material evidence at the trial for the Koricanske stijene crime.

The State Prosecution files a motion with the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, asking it to order custody for Zoran Babic, Milorad Skrbic, Dusan Jankovic and Zeljko Stojnic, who were released to liberty under prohibiting measures after the first instance verdict against them was revoked.

Upholding the appeals filed by the Defence teams, the Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina revokes the first instance verdict against Zoran Babic, Milorad Skrbic, Dusan Jankovic and Zeljko Stojnic, who were sentenced to a total of 86 years in prison for crimes at Koricanske stijene, and orders a retrial.

Testifying in defence of Branko Topola at the trial for crimes at Koricanske stijene, a Defence witness says that the indictee was neither uniformed nor armed, when he was in Trnopolje in 1992, adding that she considered him “a cheerful person”.
