The beginning of trial of Fadil Dajic and Vahid Hadrovic, who are charged with crimes in Kakanj, has been postponed until October 22, because indictee Dajic announced that he would seek to conclude a guilt admission agreement with the Cantonal Prosecution in Zenica.

Prosecutor Amra Ahmetlic said that she agreed with that possibility, adding that the Prosecution’s board would respond once it had received a written proposal from the indictee.

Fadil Dajic, former member of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Vahid Hadrovic, former member of police from Kakanj, are charged with having killed a Serb civilian.

According to the charges, Dajic and Hadrovic committed the murder within an operation for confiscation of weapons in Plandiste village on June 10, 1993.

“Hadrovic and Dajic mistreated him verbally and then also physically. Hadrovic beat him up, breaking his facial bones. Dajic then killed him by firing five or six bullets at him,” the indictment alleges.
