The cantonal court of Zenica has postponed the beginning of the Fadil Dajic and Vahid Hadrovic retrial due to Dajic’s poor health.

The Prosecution, presenting its closing statements, calls on the Court to sentence Fadil Dajic and Vahid Hadrovic for crimes in Kakanj in June 1993. The Defence teams call for a verdict of release.

The presentation of evidence at the trial of Fadil Dajic and Vahid Hadrovic, who are charged with crimes in Kakanj, before the Zenica Cantonal Court has been completed with the examination of a ballistic expert witness and presentation of the Defence’s material evidence.

As the trial for crimes in Kakanj continues before the Cantonal Court in Zenica, indictee Vahid Hadrovic says that statements by witnesses, who are accusing him of having killed a Serb civilian, are false.

Testifying in defence of the second indictee at the trial of Fadil Dajic and Vahid Hadrovic, who are charged with crimes in Kakanj, witnesses say that it is not known to them who killed Sekula Poletan.
