Dunjic said that, in 1994 and 1995 he was member of a special medical team of the Committee for the collection of data about crimes against humanity and international laws formed by the Federal Government in Belgrade.
We examined people who were subjected to torture in detention facilities and camps in Brcko, Zvornik and Trebinje in order to determine the injuries they got. Branko Radenkovic was one of the people we examined in Brcko. There are medical documents about this case. The documents specify that he had an injury of left foot caused by a mechanical action and exposure to cold, Dunjic said.
Nusret Guso and Mirsad Suljagic, former members of the 108th Motorized Brigade of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, are charged with having subjected prisoner of war Branko Radenkovic to questioning several times during August 1994 in order to obtain information about the military positions held by the Republika Srpska Army and the murder of Muslims in Brcko.
According to the charges, Radenkovic was subjected to humiliation and physical abuse by the indictees, who beat him with their legs and sticks on several occasions.
The witness said that two other doctors and he examined injured party Radenkovic, adding that they determined that he had bodily injuries that could have been made at least six months prior to the examination.
A summary of the medical report related to this patient and photograph of the injury, which we saw on his leg at that time, were included in a book published by the Committee. The book speaks about injuries and consequences caused to those people during their detention and stay in detention camps, the witness said.
Slavo Lakic, Prosecutor with the Brcko District Prosecution, said that Dunjic was the last witness to be examined by the Prosecution, adding that he would not propose any new witnesses.
At the next hearing the Prosecution will present its material evidence. The Defence will then begin examining witnesses.
The trial is due to continue on February 7, 2012.M.A.
