This post is also available in: Bosnian
Indictee Mladjenovic addressed the Trial Chamber at the beginning of the hearing today. He said that he did not feel well and that he had high temperature and fever.
I was not feeling well prior to coming to the Court today. I am now embarrassed for disrupting this hearing, but it may be better if I could come to the next hearing in good health, Mladjenovic explained.
The Trial Chamber accepted Mladjenovics request.
For us, the most important thing is that you are healthy. If you are not feeling well, we shall not hold the hearing today, said Trial Chamber Chairwoman Zeljka Marenic.
Mladjenovic is on trial, along with Savo Zivkovic, for having committed crimes against humanity by unlawfully depriving Bosniak civilians of liberty, physically and mentally abusing them and destroying their property within a widespread and systematic attack on the Hranca and Glogova villages, Bratunac municipality from May 3 to 9, 1992.
The indictment alleges that Mladjenovic was Commander of the Territorial Defence in Bratunac and Zivkovic was a member of that unit.
Protected witness M-2 was due to be cross-examined at the hearing today, but the examination has been postponed until the next hearing.
