A statement by a deceased witness was read at the trial of five former members of the Bosnian Army charged with crimes in the Mostar area in 1993. In the statement, the witness said defendant Enes Curic was a detention camp manager who sometimes exempted prisoners from forced labour.

Testifying at the trial of Branislav Ninkovic, charged with crimes in Dobor, witness Fadil Ahmic said he heard the defendant beating detainee Jozo Matanovic in the district prison of Doboj in 1992.

The trial of Luka Majstorovic has been renewed after the district court of Eastern Sarajevo repealed his acquittal. Majstorovic has been charged with crimes in Kula in Eastern Sarajevo.

Testifying at a trial dealing with crimes in Srebrenik, defense witnesses said the civil police was in charge of a building in Luke where civilians were detained.

A status conference in the Mehmed Alesevic case scheduled at the Bosnian state court was postponed due to the failure of the defendant to appear in court. Alesevic has been charged with crimes in Buzim.

Defense witnesses testifying at the trial of three former Bosnian Serb policemen said they didn’t see defendant Miroslav Duka when a group of Bosniaks was apprehended in front of the Bileca police station.

Bosnian Serb ex-policeman Darko Mrdja, who has already served a sentence for massacring Bosniaks, was arrested on suspicion of involvement in torturing and killing prisoners in Prijedor in 1992.
