The first witnesses testifying in defense of Sejdalija Covic said they used to see the defendant at checkpoints in the Srebrenik area throughout 1992. Persons and vehicles were inspected at the checkpoint.

Former Croatian Defence Council fighter Damir Lipovac was jailed for seven years after admitting he inhumanely treated, robbed and killed Serb civilians in the Derventa area of northern Bosnia in 1992.

Three witness expected to testify for the district prosecution of Eastern Sarajevo at the trial of Zarije Ostojic failed to appear in court again. Ostojic has been charged with crimes in Vlasenica.

Testifying in his own defense, Zeljko Stanarevic said he didn’t participate in an attack on the Ljutocka Valley in the municipality of Bihac during the summer of 1992. He said he saw prisoners from a detention camp in Ripac once, when he was given a ride on a truck transporting the prisoners.

The Bosnian state court has accepted a plea agreement reached with former Bosnian Croat fighter Damir Lipovac, charged with war crimes committed in Derventa in 1992.

A state prosecution witness testifying at the trial of Mirko Vrucinic said he was detained and beaten in a garage in the Betonira factory in Sanski Most and the Manjaca detention camp. The witness also said some detainees were beaten more often than him.

Testifying at the trial of eight defendants charged with wartime crimes in the Hadzici area, a defense witness said only Serbs who possessed weapons and represented a security threat were detained in the Pazaric and Tarcin area.

A defense witness testifying at the Jasmin Sehagic trial said he wasn’t mistreated during his detention in an old mine directorate building in Kakanj. Other witnesses said they were unaware of any abuse of prisoners at the site.

Five individuals suspected of war crimes committed in the Capljina area were arrested in the Ljubuski, Siroki Brijeg, Capljina and Mostar areas, as per a warrant issued by the state prosecution.

Testifying at the trial of seven Bosniak defendants charged with crimes in the Hadzici area, a defense witness said she noted down statements given by Serbs accused of illegal arms possession in Tarcin and Pazaric.
