Testifying at a trial dealing with the wartime murder of civilians in the Cajnice area, a state prosecution witness said his neighbour told him he had been taken away by Milosav, Marijan and Slavko Jovanovic, who were members of the Bosnian Serb Army at the time.

Testifying at the trial of former Bosnian Serb Army soldiers, two state prosecution witnesses said they found out that their children had been murdered and burned inside a house in the village of Medosevici. They said the murders were committed by the defendants, who were also their neighbours at the time.

A prosecution witness testifying at the trial of three former Bosnian Serb soldiers said that the defendants were his neighbours, and that they abducted and killed members of his family.

Four former Bosnian Serb soldiers denied that they were responsible for the murders of six Bosniak civilians including two children as well as other crimes in eastern Bosnia in 1992.

Following the confirmation of the indictment for crimes in Cajnice, the State Prosecution requests extension of prohibiting measures against indictees Milosav, Marijan and Slavko Jovanovic, but the Defence teams object to the request.

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH, terminates custody for Milosav, Marijan and Slavko Jovanovic, who are suspected of crimes in Cajnice, and orders prohibiting measures against them.

Stevo Jovanovic, former member of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, who is suspected of crimes in Cajnice, has been released from custody.
