Stevo, Milosav, Marijan and Slavko Jovanovic, all former members of the Third Podrinje Light Infantry Brigade of the Bosnian Serb Army, denied on Monday that they had killed the Bosniak civilians in the village of Medosevici near Cajnice in June 1992.
“I am not guilty,” Stevo Jovanovic told the Bosnian state court. The other three defendants repeated the same words.
Although the four men share the same surname, it is unknown whether they are related.
As the defendants denied the charges, their trial will start in the next two months.
