14. October 2010.
A Defence witness testifies at the trial for genocide committed in Srebrenica and says that about ten members of the First Battalion with the Zvornik Brigade were standing around the school building in Pilica when male prisoners were brought from Srebrenica, but they were not assigned any tasks.


11. October 2010.
At the trial for genocide committed in Srebrenica, three witnesses testify for the defence of Momir Pelemis and say that, as far as they knew, members of the First Battalion with the Zvornik Brigade of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, did not participate in the murder of prisoners in Pilica village.


7. October 2010.
Two witnesses testify in defence of Momir Pelemis at the trial for genocide committed in Srebrenica and say that members of the First Battalion with Zvornik Brigade neither knew about nor participated in the murder of detainees in the Cultural Center in Pilica in July 1995.

23. September 2010.
The Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina passed down a second instance verdict pronouncing Sreten Lazarevic, Dragan Stanojevic and Slobodan Ostojic guilty and acquitting Mile Markovic of the charges for crimes against civilians committed in Zvornik in 1992. Lazarevic, Stanojevic and Ostojic were pronounced guilty, as reserve policemen with the Public Safety Station, PSS, in Zvornik and guards in the Offence Court and “Novi izvor” buildings in Zvornik, of having treated detained Bosniak civilians in an inhumane manner.

The Defence attorneys for four indictees charged with crimes committed in Zvornik presented their closing arguments at the end of the retrial, contending that the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina had not proved the charges beyond a reasonable doubt and that their clients should be acquitted of all charges.
