Indictees Plead not Guilty of Bihac Crimes

Adil Vojic and Bekir Mesic, who are charged with crimes in Bihac municipality, appear before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH, and plead not guilty.

According to the charges, Vojic and Mesic, former members of the 501st Brigade of the Fifth Corps with the Army of BiH, who were accompanied by a few other people, forcibly took a Serb woman and men from their house at night on May 1/2, 1994. After that they raped the woman on a nearby meadow, while the man was guarded by an ABiH member.

The indictment was confirmed on December 22. The trial is due to begin in the coming period.
