Evidence Presentation at Majstorovic’s Trial Completed

“When a group from Dobrinja was brought, I came there and wrote their first and last names down. I made a list of people. I did not conduct any informative interviews,” Majstorovic said.

He mentioned that he used to work with the Public Safety Station in Sarajevo prior to the war and that he went to Nedzarici at the beginning of the war. As he said, he was then deployed to Kula. He stayed there for about a month before going to Grbavica.

He said that, when he made the list of people from the Dobrinja area, he also made an official note, which he handed over to the Chief.

“I have never beaten anyone, be it Serbs or Muslims,” Majstorovic said, when asked by the Prosecution whether he knew Senad Turbo.

The indictment alleges that Majstorovic, a former investigator, treated a Bosniak civilian in an inhumane manner and intentionally caused bodily pain to and suffering of that civilian in the Kula Facility.

The indictee said that he conducted an informative interview with two detainees and that he confiscated a rifle from one of them and a pistol from the other.

Majstorovic mentioned that he was once tasked with taking about 50 detainees to Vrbanja Bridge for an exchange and that it was completed.

Responding to Prosecution’s questions, Majstorovic said that he did not know whether there was another person named Luka in Kula.

The presentation of evidence was completed with Majstorovic’s testimony in his defence.

The Prosecution and Defence are due to present their closing statements on January 28.
