Prosecutor Vesna Ilic requested the Trial Chamber to exclude the public, because she wanted to tell the Chamber something about this witness. The public was excluded for half an hour. Following our return to the courtroom, we were told that the trial would continue on January 15. The Trial Chamber Chairman did not provide any details on what had happened in the courtroom in the meantime.Dzeko, former member of the “Zulfikar” Unit of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ABiH, is charged with having killed three elderly Croat civilians during an ABiH attack on Trusina village.He is charged with having opened fire, along with a few other members of the “Zulfikar” Unit, at three lined members of the Croatian Defence Council, who had surrendered, and three civilians following the end of the attack. Besides that, he is on trial for having committed crimes against Croat civilians and prisoners in Jablanica in the second half of 1993.In September this year protected witness O testified at the trial for crimes in Trusina, which are charged upon Mensur Memic, Dzevad Salcin, Nedzad Hodzic, Nihad Bojadzic and Zulfikar Alispago, former members of the “Zulfikar” Unit, and Senad Hakalovic, former member of the “Neretvica” Brigade.At that hearing he testified in a separate cabin with his voice being altered.
