In April 1993, on one of the most tragic days of the Bosnian war, 116 Bosniaks were murdered in the village of Ahmici and 22 Croats were killed in the village of Trusina. Thirty years on, survivors are still mourning.

After a trial that lasted nearly five years, the case involving the Bosnian Army attack on the village of Trusina ended. Five former members of the Bosnian Army will receive their verdicts on Tuesday, September 01.

The state court will hand down a verdict against five former members of the Bosnian Army, whove been charged with war crimes in Trusina, near Konjic, after summer vacation.

The Bosnian state court will hand down a verdict in the trial of Mensur Memic, Dzevad Salcin, Senad Hakalovic, Nedzad Hodzic and Nihad Bojadzic on July 13. The defendants have been charged with committing war crimes in the village of Trusina, near Konjic, on July 13, 1993.

On her fifth day of closing statements, Nihad Bojadzics defense attorney said there was no evidence that indicated her client commanded an attack on the village of Trusina on April 16, 1993.
