The state prosecution issued an order for the arrest of Nikola Zovko, Petar Krndelj, Kreso Raic and Ivica Cutura in the Herzegovina area due to allegations that they participated in the arrest and murder of Bosniak civilians in Capljina during 1993.

Zovko is the former Capljina police station chief, Krndelj is the former Capljina police station commander, and Raic is the former commander of the military police squad. The suspects, accompanied by other members of the military and civil police, allegedly captured three unarmed Bosniak civilians at Celjevska Ada and killed them.

Zovko, Krndelj and Raic and other unidentified perpetrators allegedly participated in an operation at Celjevska Ada which was commanded by Krndelj. They severely wounded and captured another Bosniak, who was then abused at the police station in Capljina.

Ivica Cutura is suspected of having arrested Bosniak civilians who were then taken to the Gabela detention camp in the territory of Capljina during July 1993. He allegedly acted in collaboration with other persons whose identity is known to him.

The suspects will be handed over to the state prosecution, which will decide whether to file a custody order motion or not.
