Djerahovic and Saric Trial Postponed

The cantonal court of Zenica postponed the trial of Sedjad Djerahovic and Jasmin Saric, due to Saric’s poor health.

Saric’s defense attorney, Ramo Ajkic, said his client informed him that he was sick and couldn’t attend the trial.

The trial chamber ordered Ajkic to provide medical documentation within the next ten days. The trial will continue on April 21, when court expert Emira Ejubovic will present her findings.

Saric, a former officer, and Djerahovic, former soldier with the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, have been charged with abusing and beating civilians in the municipality of Zenica.
