Killing without Premeditation

S-1 testified at the trial of indictees Semir Alukic and Fikret Hirkic, who are charged with having committed crimes against Serb civilians in the Prijedor area in 1992, including the murder of Bozo Indjic.
Witness S-1 said that Beslagic, who was armed, came to the Indjic’s and that he did not have the intention to kill him.
“Indjic allegedly pulled his gun at him, but Beslagic was faster and killed him. This is the information I got,” the protected witness said.
During the course of his testimony he said that the Serb Army had the goal to destroy Kozarac.
The indictment alleges that, on August 29, 1992 Alukic and Hirkic, who were allegedly accompanied by other persons, shot at Serb houses in Podgradje hamlet, near Prijedor, where they killed Indjic.
The trial is due to continue on June 20.
