Trial Chamber Chairwoman Minka Kreho mentioned that the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH, and Defence of the indictees agreed last week not to present the pieces of evidence, which had already been presented. She then listed all those pieces of evidence.
 
At a status conference held on February 27 it was announced that, due to his health condition, judge Ljubomir Kitic would be replaced by judge Stanisa Gluhajic.
 
Mustafa Djelilovic, Fadil Covic, Mirsad Sabic, Nezir Kazic, Becir Hujic, Halid Covic, Serif Mesanovic and Nermin Kalember are on trial for having committed crimes in “Silos” detention camp, “Krupa” military barracks and the “9. maj” school building.   
 
According to the State Prosecution’s charges, Djelilovic was President of the Municipal Assembly, Crisis Committee and wartime Presidency of Hadzici municipality, Fadil Covic was Chief of the Public Safety Station in Hadzici and member of the Crisis Committee, while Sabic was Commander of the Police Station in Pazaric at that time.
 
The Prosecution alleges that Kazic was Commander of the 9th Mountain Brigade of the Army of BiH, Hujic was Manager and Deputy Manager of “Silos” detention camp, just like Halid Covic. According to the charges, Mesanovic was one of the Deputy Managers of “Silos” and Manager of the detention camp in “Krupa” military barracks warehouse, while Kalember was a guard in “Silos”.
 
They are charged with having participated, in the period from May 1992 to January 1996 in a joint criminal enterprise within which they committed crimes against civilians and prisoners of war in several buildings in the Hadzici area.
 
The trial began in April 2012. About 60 State Prosecution witnesses have been examined so far.
 
The trial is due to continue on March 13.
