The trial of Fadil Dajic and Vahid Hadrovic for crimes in Kakanj continues with the presentation of Prosecution’s material evidence before the Cantonal Court in Zenica.

Documents related to the indictees’ military engagement, as well as the death of civilian Sekula Poletan, were admitted as evidence.

At a request by the Court, the Prosecution had obtained information about the crime scene inspection conducted by police, but, according to information obtained from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, MUP, the archives of the then Safety Services Centre did not contain photo documentation and the inspection had not been finalised due to combat activities.

The Defence of indictee Vahid Hadrovic pointed out that an investigative judge of the Kakanj Court conducted a crime scene inspection too, proposing to the Court that the judge be examined as a witness.

The Court rejected the proposal and decided to seek information about the crime scene inspection conducted on June 9, 1993.

The Court accepted a proposal by Hadrovic’s Defence for examination of four new witnesses and rejected a request for re-examination of Prosecution’s witnesses, whom the Defence wanted to examine directly.

The Defence of indictee Fadil Dajic announced that it was collecting medical documentation about the indictee’s health condition, adding that it did not have suggestions for any other pieces of evidence for the time being.

The trial is due to continue on April 1.
