Witness Rosic said that he had known Mujagic since early childhood, that he was commander of his squad during the war and that he could only say words of praise for him.

According to Rosic’s testimony, in March 1995 he was sent, along with Mujagic and a few other members of the National Defence of the Western Bosnia Autonomous Region, as a resource group to Kumarica, adding that, upon their arrival, they saw several ABiH members.

“Mujagic told him to run away. Then we saw two more members of the Fifth Corps of ABiH. One of them was carrying the other one, who was wounded. When we came close to them, Tajso asked them who they were. The soldier, who was not wounded, dropped the severely wounded one. It seemed that he was dead. Sulejman then tapped Tajso on his shoulder and told him that we did not have time, so Sulejman, my brother and I moved on. Tajso stayed behind and joined us later on,” Rosic said.

When asked by Trial Chamber Chairman Reuf Kapic if it was possible that Tajso had shot at the members of the Fifth Corps, Rosic said that he could not exclude that possibility, but he did not know for sure, because there was shooting from all directions.

Sulejman Mujagic is charged with having killed a captured member of ABiH and wounded another one in Kumarica region, Velika Kladusa municipality on March 6, 1995.

The indictment alleges that, following the capture and physical abuse of members of the 505th Brigade of the Fifth Corps, Mujagic killed Ekrem Baltic and wounded Nisvet Cordic from an automatic gun.

The trial is due to continue once an expert examination of indictee Mujagic’s mental health has been conducted.
