According to the charges, Alukic and Hirkic killed two Serb civilians and attempted to kill two more.

It is alleged that Alukic, who was accompanied by five other persons, participated in the murder of civilian B.O. on the trunk road between Prijedor and Banja Luka.

“Alukic and his associates came of out of the woods on Mount Kozara to Kozarac village on August 29, 1992. When a car, driven by B.O. from Prijedor, passed by about five or ten minutes later, they fired several bullets and killed the driver. After that they set the vehicle on fire,” the indictment alleges.

It further alleges that, on that same day Alukic and Hirkic, who were accompanied by seven other people, opened fire on Serb houses in Podgradje hamlet, near Prijedor. On that occasion they killed B.I. from Podgradje and tried to kill D.S. and her daughter S.S., who managed to run away.

After that they set B.I.’s house on fire, leaving his body inside the house.
