The indictment alleges that Odobasic, former member of the “Golubovi” (“Pigeons”) Fifth Company with the National Defence of the Western Bosnia Autonomous Region, killed Rifet Suljanovic, member of the Fifth Corps of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ABiH, after he had been captured.

According to the charges, following the capture of a large number of members of the Fifth Corps with ABiH and police forces in March 1995, the indictee took prisoner Rifet Suljanovic and hit him with his fists and an automatic gun several times.

The Bihac Prosecution alleges that, when Suljanovic fell on the ground, indictee Odobasic fired several bullets from an automatic gun at him and he died immediately.

The Prosecution in Bihac confirmed to BIRN -Justice Report that Odobasic is currently serving a sentence in the Penal and Correctional Facility in Zenica for another crime.

According to the existing laws, Odobasic is due to appear before the Cantonal Court in Bihac and enter his plea within the next 15 days.
