The prosecution called on the Bosnian court to increase former Bosnian Serb Army soldier Sasa Curcic’s five-year sentence for raping a Bosniak woman during the war in 1992 in the Foca area.
The Bosnian authorities asked the Serbian judiciary to take over the case of Visnja Acimovic, who is accused of involvement in the shooting of 37 Bosniak prisoners in the Vlasenica municipality in 1992.
The prosecution in Zagreb has agreed to take over Bosnia’s case against former Croatian Defence Council general Zlatan Mijo Jelic, who is accused of wartime crimes against Bosniak civilians in Mostar in 1993-94.
