Testifying at the trial of Radovan Karadzic, Charles Kirudja, former United Nations official, says that, in the summer of 1992 Bosnian Serb authorities forcibly moved several thousands of Bosniaks from Bosanski novi, adding that those people were then transferred to Austria via Croatia.

British journalist Ed Vulliamy says at the trial of Radovan Karadzic, that prisoners, whom he saw in “Omarska” detention camp in August 1992, looked “horrified”, describing prisoners, who were held in “Trnopolje” detention camp, “as skeletons”.

A total of 4,403 prisoners went through the Manjaca camp in 1992, 95 per cent of them Bosniaks - among them those who were not in the army or armed - and some of them murdered or dying from inhuman treatment upon arrival to the camp, the protected witness for the prosecution code-named KDZ-163 said today at the trial of Radovan Karadzic in The Hague.
