By presenting statements by three Defence witnesses, former Republika Srpska President Radovan Karadzic tried to deny the existence of a plan for the forced persecution of Muslims and Croats from Bosanska Krajina, which is charged upon him.
On the fifth day of his testimony at Radovan Karadzics trial witness Momcilo Krajisnik says that ethnic cleansing was not the policy of Bosnian Serb leaders, as alleged under the indictment.

While cross-examining Defence witness Momcilo Krajisnik, The Hague Prosecution tries to prove that the Bosnian Serbs political leadership, led by indictee Radovan Karadzic set six strategic goals for the Army. Forced separation from Bosniaks and Croats was the first one of those goals.
Testifying at Ratko Mladics trial, a Hague Prosecution military expert says that, in May 1992 the indictee was aware of the fact that the separation of Serbs from Bosniaks and Croats, as a Serbs military goal, would represent genocide, so he warned political leaders about it.
As the trial for crimes in the Bratunac area continues, Defence witnesses say that volunteers were responsible for detention and mistreatment of Bosniaks and that indictee Savo Babic had nothing to do with it.
Testifying in defence of Radovan Karadzic at the Hague, Radoslav Brdjanin, one of wartime leaders of Serbs in Bosanska Krajina, denies the accusation on existence of a strategic plan for forced resettlement of Muslims and Croats from Banja Luka and the surrounding municipalities in 1992.
During the continuation of Radovan Karadzics trial Defence witness Nikola Poplasen says that the indictee did not advocate for deportation of Bosniaks and Croats from Serb territories during the Bosnian war.
