An appellate session before the Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, FBiH, in order to discuss a verdict under which Zehrudin Scuk was sentenced to six years in prison for crimes in Jablanica, was postponed, because the indictee and his Defence attorney were not able to appear in courtroom.

During an appeals hearing held before the Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, FBiH, the Prosecution calls for a longer imprisonment for Frane Vulic for crimes in Capljina, while the Defence calls for the renewal of the trial or acquittal.

The cantonal court in Mostar on Thursday convicted Scuk of the murder of Iva Pavlovic on July 28, 1993 for a second time, after the verdict from a previous trial was quashed by the supreme court and the case sent for retrial.

The Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, FBiH, quashes a verdict under which Vlatko Jarak was sentenced to one year in prison for crimes in the Stolac area.

The Supreme Court of the Federation of BiH quashes a verdict against Zehrudin Scuk, under which he was sentenced to six years in prison for crimes in Jablanica, and orders a retrial to be held before the Cantonal Court in Mostar.
