Former Bosnian Army soldiers Muhko and Safet Velagic were found guilty of committing war crimes against prisoners of war in the Bugojno area in July 1993. The Cantonal Court in Novi Travnik sentenced Muhko Velagic was sentenced to seven years in prison and Safet Velagic to six years for war crimes against prisoners of war.

Former policeman Mladjen Vasiljevic was sentenced to three years in prison for shooting a civilian dead in the Ribnik area in August 1992. The District Court in Banja Luka on Tuesday convicted ex-policeman Mladjen Vasiljevic of committing crimes against the civilian population in the Ribnik area.

The Cantonal Court in Bihac has sentenced Goran Sovilj and Petar Galic to a total of 17 years in prison for committing crimes in Kljuc, Bosnia.

Former policeman Vojislav Brestovac was found guilty of participating in the murder of two Bosniak brothers and their sister in the Doboj area in 1992 and sentenced to eight years in prison.

Former Bosnian Serb soldier Milenko Krsmanovic was acquitted of beating up a Bosniak civilian in the village of Pediste in the Sokolac municipality in July 1992. The District Court in Eastern Sarajevo on Tuesday acquitted Krsmanovic of war crimes against civilians.

Former Bosnian Serb soldier Radomir Sevarika was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for participating in the beating and murder of Croat prisoners in Knezevo in October 1992. The District Court in Banja Luka on Friday found Sevarika guilty of seizing and beating the two prisoners, and then killing one of them.

Former world champion boxer Mensur Peljto was acquitted of abusing and torturing Serb civilians and prisoners of war while he was a fighter with the Croatian Defence Council in 1992. The Basic Court in Brcko acquitted Mensur Peljto on Monday of abusing Serb civilians and prisoners of war in the area aroud the town during wartime, citing a lack of evidence.
