The Court of BiH ordered Tesic into home detention and banned him from contacting witnesses. Police will visit the indictee every day.
“In case indictee Tesic flees, the sum offered in exchange for his release will be transferred to the budget of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” the Bosnian State Court’s announcement says.
Tesic, who has been held in custody since September this year, is charged together with Miodrag Josipovic. The indictment, to which they pleaded not guilty, alleges that they participated in the forced relocation of Bosniaks from Potocari on July 12 and 13, 1995, separation of men and detention of more than 1,000 men, who were killed late on, in Bratunac.
Josipovic is charged in his capacity as former Chief of the Public Safety Station in Bratunac and Tesic as former Deputy Commander of the Police Station in Bratunac.
