¸Ratko Lavrnic Acquittal Confirmed by Supreme Court
The Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the acquittal of Ratko Lavrnic, who was charged with war crimes in Kljuc.

Ilhana Tahmaz–Jamak, the court spokesperson, said the court rejected the prosecution’s appeal as unfounded and confirmed the acquittal handed down by the cantonal court of Bihac on July 7, 2014.
Lavrnic, a former member of the 17th Kljucka Brigade of the Bosnian Serb Army, was acquitted of the murder of Fatima Risovic, Hata Risovic and Ramiza Adzemovic. He was also acquitted of assaulting Ejub Cenanovic on February 10, 1993.
The initial first instance acquittal in the case was handed down on October 24, 2012. The Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina repealed the verdict and ordered a retrial at the cantonal court of Bihac.
