“The appeal filed by the District Prosecution of Eastern Sarajevo is hereby upheld, the verdict pronounced by the District Court is repealed and the case will be sent back for a retrial,” the court said in its decision.The district prosecution filed an appeal against the first instance verdict on the basis of incorrect and incompletely determined facts.On February 2, 2015 the District Court of Eastern Sarajevo acquitted Majstorovic of charges of war crimes against the civilian population.Majstorovic, a former operational worker with the Kula public safety center, was acquitted of charges that he beat Senad Turbo in Kula in May 1992 with another unknown perpetrator.
