Indictment Against Former Bosnian Army Soldier Confirmed

The Bosnian state court confirmed the indictment against Redzo Balic, suspected of having committed war crimes against civilians in the Konjic area in the summer of 1992.

According to the indictment, Balic, a former member of the Akrepi Commando and Reconnaissance Squad of the Bosnian Army is suspected of having abused and killed Serb civilians in the village of Razici. Razici is near Glavaticevo, in the municipality of Konjic.

The prosecution filed an indictment in late March. According to the prosecution, Balic and a few other soldiers went to a house in Glavaticevo. Five civilians, including one child, were detained in the house.

The prosecution alleges that Balic shot and killed a man in front of the house. He then allegedly mentally and physically abused a woman detained inside the house.

Još tri osobe su uhapšene u Moldaviji zbog sumnje da su učestvovale u pripremi masovnih nereda u zemlji nakon što su za to obučeni u ruskim kampovima u Bosni i Hercegovini, saopćeno je iz moldavskog tužilaštva.
