The former members of the Sixth Sanska Infantry Brigade of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, are charged with having participated in war crimes against Bosniak victims, including in the murders, rape, beating, robbing and other types of mental and physical abuse, in the broader area of Sanski Most from the summer of 1992 to the autumn of 1994.

According to the charges, the Mrdjas and Kokot requested people to given them money and other valuables, while threatening them with cold weapons and firearms, mistreating the persons whom they found in their houses mentally and physically and causing them severe physical pain and suffering.

According to the charges, the mistreatment resulted in the murder of two civilians.

The Prosecution of BiH charges two of the suspects with having raped a Bosniak female.

The suspects were arrested on December 23. One-month custody was ordered for Milorad and Goran Mrdja and prohibiting measures for the two other suspects.
