The evidence presented the praise of Bosnian Army’s Fourth Corp from 1994 for the Fourth Reconnaissance Battalion commanded by Bojadzic.

Bojadzic was deputy commander of the Bosnian Army’s Zulfikar squad until 1994. The squad became part of the Fourth Corp in 1994, and renamed as the Fourth Reconnaissance Battalion.

The Defence also presented the praises Bojadzic received after the war, while he was on duty in the Army of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and later in Bosnia’s armed forces.

The Defence said that the praises were relevant for determining the character of the defendant.

Also on trial for the Trusina killings, committed on April 16 in 1993, are former Bosniak soldiers Mensur Memic, Dzevad Salcin and Nedzad Hodzic, former members of Zulfikar squad, and Senad Hakalovic, a former member of Bosnian Army’s Neretvica squad.

According to the indictment, 18 civilians and four members of the Croatian Defence Council were killed in the Bosnian Army’s attack on Trusina.

New material evidence will be presented on July 25.
