Eniz Basic Pleads not Guilty
Eniz Basic appears before the Cantonal Court in Zenica and pleads not guilty to the charges that he committed crimes against the civilian population.

The indictment alleges that, in April 1993 he arrested two Croat civilians in Gornje Vardiste village, Zenica municipality, and left them at a checkpoint set at a crossroads.
Burnt bodies of these civilians were found in a summer house in Bilivode village on April 24, 1993.
According to the charges, Basic was a member of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina at that time.
The indictment against Basic was originally filed by the Prosecution of BiH in December 2011, but the case was later referred to judicial bodies in Zenica Canton.
