As said at the trial, court expert Ratko Kovacevic, who was due to conduct an expert examination of the indictee, informed the Court that he was not able to accept the task.

Defence attorney Milana Borovcanin-Bulic proposed that the examination be conducted by Zorica Lazarevic, who will present her findings and opinion on October 16.

Kornjaca is charged with having participated in the murder of 28 civilians, who were detained in the hunters’ house at Mostina, after a member of “Plavi orlovi” (“Blue Eagles”) paramilitary unit was killed in May 1992.

The former Commander of “Plavi orlovi” paramilitary unit is on trial for persecuting Bosniaks from the Cajnice area.

The Defence presented evidence about the working ability and a decision on indictee’s retirement due to disability. The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina objected to relevance of those pieces of evidence, saying that they were not important for this indictment.
