The Bosnian state prosecution requested that custody measures for Bozidar Perisic and Vinko Zoranovic be extended. Perisic and Zoranovic are suspected of war crimes in the Rogatica area in 1992. The defense teams objected to the state prosecutions motion to extend custody measures.

Presenting their appeals before the Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH, the Prosecution of BiH requests a longer sentence against Milun Kornjaca and a retrial for the acquitting part of the verdict, while the Defence calls on the Court to acquit the indictee.

In his closing statement to the Sarajevo court on Wednesday, Kornjaca said that said that it had not been proved that he was involved in the killings of 28 imprisoned Bosniak civilians at the Lovacki Dom (Hunting Lodge) in Mostina in the Cajnice area in May 1992.

Alleged former Bosnian Serb paramilitary fighter Milun Kornjaca said that he was innocent of the imprisonment, torture and murder of Bosniaks in the Cajnice area in 1992.

On the second day of presentation of its closing statements the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH, says that, by giving an order to take civilians from Brdo village, Cajnice municipality, to Mostina and detain them in a metal container, Milun Kornjaca contributed to their murder.

The presentation of the State Prosecutions evidence at the trial of Milun Kornjaca, who is charged with crimes in Cajnice in April and May 1992, has been completed with the examination of an additional witness.

The planned expert examination of health condition of Milun Kornjaca, who is charged with crimes in Cajnice, has been postponed due to replacement of a court expert.

Nedeljko Milidragovic and Aleksa Golijanin, who are charged with genocide in Srebrenica and reside in Serbia, did not attend a scheduled plea hearing in their case.

Over the past three weeks the Defence of Milun Kornjaca, who is charged with crimes in Cajnice, has not managed to select a doctor, who would prepare findings about the indictees health. The Trial Chamber allows the indictee to propose a court expert of his own choice.

During a status conference, scheduled prior to the presentation of evidence by indictee Milun Kornjaca, the Defence proposes an expert examination of the indictee.
