Muhamed Adzem, Suljo Karkelj, Senad Halilovic and Omer Ugljesa, former members of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ARBiH, have been released after spending six months in detention.

“We have not filed a proposal for filing of an indictment but the investigation in this case will continue,” said Neven Kramer, Secretary of the District Prosecution in Eastern Sarajevo.

The State Investigation and Protection Agency, SIPA, arrested Adzem, Karkelj, Halilovic and Ugljesa due to a suspicion that they committed war crimes against Serb prisoners in Gorazde.
