Witness Quails at Nuisance

The Trial Chamber accepted the witness’ request to prohibit the publication of his testimony.
“Someone can ask what I am doing here. I may or may not face nuisance,” the witness said before testifying.
Stanisic and Milosevic are charged with having participated in crimes committed on a dam in Petkovci village, near Zvornik, where about 1,000 Bosniak men and boys from Srebrenica, who had been captured, were executed in mid July 1995.
According to the charges, Stanisic was Commander of the Sixth Battalion with Zvornik Brigade of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, while Milosevic was his Deputy.
New State Prosecution witnesses are due to be examined at the next hearing scheduled for June 19.
