After having been held in detention for one month, Krajisnik was released to liberty under prohibiting measures on February 24, 2012. Those measures are still in force.
The investigation in this case is still underway. A prosecutorial decision has still not been rendered, the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina said briefly.
The Prosecution suspects Krajisnik, former Commander of the Kosevo Brigade with the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, of having ordered the murder of ten Bosniak civilians and capture and persecution of a large number of people, mostly women and children, from the Nahorevo, Poljine and other neighbourhoods in Sarajevo in June 1992.
He is suspected of having committed crimes against humanity as member of a joint criminal enterprise in the Hadzici, Trnovo, Ilidza, Novo Sarajevo, Novi Grad, Centar and Vogosca municipalities, Sarajevo.
The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed that Krajisnik was still obliged to respect the prohibiting measures ordered against him in February 2012.
According to data obtained from the Court, prohibiting measures may last for as long as needed, while their justifiability is checked every two months.
Krajisnik is banned from leaving his place of residence. His travel documents have also been confiscated.
Besides that, he is banned from meeting and contacting his accomplices and discussing the case with anybody else but his Defence attorney.
