The indictment alleges that Brkan and Macic, former members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ABiH, who were allegedly accompanied by other soldiers, came to Blace village, Konjic municipality in June 1992 and killed for Serb old women aged between 78 and 84.

“Ibro Macic fired several bullets at them from his rifle. Osman Brkan then shot at the old ladies’ bodies from his rifle. Their bodies have still not been found,” the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina says in its announcement.

Besides that, the indictment charges Macic in eight counts with having participated in the inhumane treatment of people in the “Musala” school building in Konjic, where Serb and Croat prisoners were held, in the period from May to October 1993.

The indictment has been filed with the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation.
