During a status conference held prior to the trial of Stanisic and Milosevic, the Trial Chamber announced that the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina had submitted its evidence presentation plan in writing.

The Defence of the two indictees said that they would express their opinion about the previously determined facts and statements given by the indictees before the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, ICTY at a later stage, announcing that they would seek to cross-examine the witnesses, whose statements given before the ICTY would be presented as evidence.

Prosecutor Eric Larson announced that military analyst Richard Butler would be examined via video link.
Stanisic and Milosevic are charged with having participated in crimes committed on a dam in Petkovci, near Djulici village, Zvornik municipality, where about 1,000 Bosniak men and boys from Srebrenica, who had previously been captured, were shot in July 1995.

The indictment alleges that Stanisic was Commander of the Sixth Battalion with the Zvornik Brigade of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS and Milosevic was his Deputy.

The State Investigation and Protection Agency, SIPA arrested Stanisic and Milosevic in the Zvornik area on June 21 this year. They have been held in custody since.
