Urosevic and Ivcev, former members of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, are charged with murders, inhumane treatment, causing severe suffering and attacking the bodily integrity and personal dignity of Bosniak civilians who were held in “Luke” prison, Brcko municipality during the war.

The Brcko Prosecution charges the two indictees with having caused the severe suffering of civilian C. F. by torturing him and hitting him with sticks all over his body in the “Luke” detention camp in June 1992.

The indictment alleges that on May 20, 1992, Ivcev caused severe suffering and bodily injuries to civilian D. S. and tortured him during the course of his examination by hitting him with a rubber stick all over his body, in “Luke” detention camp.

The Brcko District police arrested the two indictees on May 5, 2011, but the Court later released them under prohibiting measures, including a ban on leaving their place of residence or travelling outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The indictee’s travel documents were confiscated. A ban on the issuance of new travel documents was imposed as well. In addition, the indictees must report to a police station every seven days.
