Dolic’s travel documents have been confiscated, and he is also banned from leaving his place of residence, contacting accomplices and discussing the case with anyone except for his defence attorney.
“The competent police administration in the Prozor municipality will conduct random visits to the indictee two times a day in order to check whether he respects the measures,” the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina said in its decision.
Dolic, a former member of the Hawks Reconnaissance Squad with the Croatian Defence Council, HVO, is charged with participation in the rape of Bosniak women in the Lapsunj and Druzinovici villages and the mistreatment of civilians during the course of 1993.
He was arrested at the end of October 2009 and has been held in custody since.
The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the indictment against Dolic in November 2009. He has pleaded not guilty.
