Prior to the exclusion of the public, BIRN was informed that two witnesses would be examined at this hearing.

The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina has charged Goran Mrdja, Milorad Mrdja, Ranko Mrdja and Mile Kokot with participating in war crimes against Bosniak victims, which included acts of murder, rape, assault, robbery and other forms of mental and physical abuse in the Sanski Most area.

The indictment alleges that the defendants committed the crimes as members of the Sixth Sanska Infantry Brigade of the Bosnian Serb Army.

The trial will continue on June 29.
