After the death of Ratko Mladic, convicted of genocide and other crimes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, his name was once again celebrated on the streets, in stadiums, and in public spaces, including in cities where crimes were committed. At the same time, murals of him and other war criminals’ faces still haven’t been removed, and there are no concrete reactions to the impunity of those responsible. Detektor investigated why the law is not being enforced and what message such silence sends to victims and new generations.
