A State Court ruling eight years ago found that prosecutors had charged the wrong person with commanding Croatian Defence Council (HVO) military police officers who committed crimes against Serb civilians at a school in Livno. The man named as the commander by the ruling has since become a member of the Federal Parliament. A Detector investigation shows that state prosecutors have never even questioned him about his role in the crimes.
