Trial chamber chair Husein Delalic said the witnesses had been invited to the previous hearing as well, but failed to appear in court. He said the trial would be postponed due to their absence.

Dabetic has been charged with beating and raping a Bosniak woman in the Grbavica neighbourhood of Sarajevo in 1992 with Predrag Miskovic. Dabetic has also been charged with raping the same woman again several times in 1992 and 1993.

According to the indictment, during the war Dabetic supervised a work squad in Grbavica and eventually joined the Bosnian Serb Army.

The trial will continue on January 4, 2016.
