Presentation of Evidence Completed at Dulic Trial
Trial chamber chair Mediha Pasic said the proposal to examine the witness was rejected. She said the trial chamber considered the testimony redundant, considering the high number of witnesses and the circumstances the testimony would have referred to.
The witness lives in Norway, and was unable to appear at the hearing because he couldn’t get a visa.
Dulic, a former member of the 510th Bosnian Liberation Brigade of the Fifth Corps of the Bosnian Army, has been charged with the rape of a woman in the village of Beganovici in Cazin in December 1993. He allegedly acted in collaboration with two other persons.
The prosecution and defense will present their closing statements on August 21.
